    Let's be real here.
Ward signed a contract for the rematch and the terms were already agreed upon.
Ward has a history of contract breaking and litigation.
Ward will likely be sued by Main Events and HBO and probably lose at least part of the 5 million dollars he stole after Kovalev v Ward 1.
He stole it because he has not lived up to the rematch clause. That is stealing, folks.
The best thing that could happen now is for Ward to retire. No one would care. No one really likes the dude anyway. His boxing style sucks, and he found a formula that wins fights without having any boxing skills and which is not within the Rules of Boxing.
Ward fanbois can paint it any way they want, but their man is a coward and a contract breaker. He says he's a Christian but his actions speak louder than his words.
    Go away, Ward.

The fight was close, but Kovalev got punked and showed lack of motivation, and now his team is beaing treated like they're suckers.

Maybe so, but even Mayweather never acted like this after a close fight. He got the rematch going.

It'll be the same **** minus KD, and the same result

A win is a win, Ward doesn't owe them anything

After a decade from now, people will be remembering this win as one-sided and dominant

Mayweather is a **** but always gave rematches to erase doubt. Don't know what son of a gun is thinking

If terms were agreed upon, then why would they reach out for negotiations?

Kovalev is the b side, he was the b side as the champ, he is certainly the d side now. He nor main events will dictate a thing now except signing up for a rematch w campillo for 50k as a non champ lol

What happened to all that **** that was talked about all of the terms having already been agreed to, with them only waiting on Ward to sign the already written deal? lol

The rematch clause was acknowledged by both sides; it's simply been made clear that the fight will get done on Andre Ward's time and not Kathy Duva's time.

I wonder if Hunter thinks that what his fighter is doing to boxing is a mockery. For not giving Kov a rematch. Just like he's criticizing Alvarez for not fighting GGG.
