Comments Thread For: Chavez Jr. Aims To Reclaim Lost Fans By Knocking Off Canelo

Best thing for boxing would be that Chavez wins and he then fights GGG at the end of the year leaving canelo out of the picture for good. I think that fight is easier made and then "the face of boxing" can decide what he wants to do with his extra time. Back at fighting smaller guys at a special canelo weight or shopping for expensive suits.

For some reason, I'm rooting for Jr. That said, I think his punch resistance has dropped and Canelo ends things before the end of the 6th with a perfect counter.

Jr. Will never be the same mentally or physically ever again after the beating Alvarez gives him in May.

He'll never be the same as he's been since the beating he got from Fonfara?
