  • Eddie Hearn is the best promoter in boxing

he is just on another level compared to the others when it comes to hyping up fights

he might not have the best stable of fighters, but he's always funny and entertaining

the fact that he was able to sell alot of people that GGG/Brook was an accident is lol

I like that he isnt scared to put his money fighters in risky fights. He is a fans promoter and i like him the best.

My thing with Hearn is he doesn't do much cards in the US, bob arum and Tom loffler can do cards in pretty much any country.

I think he is good but this Haye/Bellew card is horrific.

Tbh, I am actually willing to put a share of the blame on David Haye based on his previous cards and that AJ usually has brilliant under cards promoted by Eddie who has literally said the reason why this is is because AJ is generous with sharing the pot.

This Haye fight card has genuinely been effected by Frank Buglioni pulling out. Frank is a good British champion but as a fighter on a PPV him pulling out shouldn't be a big deal.

I would say that Haye always comes across as a fairly selfish kind of guy and with the way Sky and Matchroom work these PPV's he probably wants a big share of the pot and as such as messing up the whole thing.

Khalid Yafai absolutely should be defending his belt on this card. Rocky Fielding should be fighting on it, as should Luis Ortiz.

Hearn is the best at promoting no doubt about that. Dude can sell **** to a toilet.. Haye vs Bellew isn’t even competitive but that **** sold out in SECONDS!! Just goes to show he can sell anything.

Do you really think Bob or DLH could sell Haye vs Bellew in the US like that? DLH is just emotionless.. he sounds like he’s reading from a script. Hearn is entertaining and he gets you excited and makes you want to see the fights he puts on.

Best promoter doesn’t mean he’s putting on the best shows.. While he is putting on some of the biggest fights so far this year, when I say he’s the best promoter.. I mean he’s the best at promoting fights, any fight. He could sell Cinco De Mayo to Mexicans

In terms of actually promoting fighters. I actually think he might be the ONLY one who is actually really doing it.

A case in point is Wilder. People can disagree on how good they think he is but regardless an American heavyweight with a 97% knockout percentage and a version of the world title should literally be s.hitting money at this point.

Hearn is in a position where he has to promote opponents. He'll promote Spence for free ffs.

                  Hype is so important.

I do think by and large Hearn puts on good shows. But this PPV model does depend on the headline fighters not being selfish.

I wouldn't know. He may be the best. I am a fan of boxers not promoters. I just hope for them to make good fights.
