People complaining about Angel and his rants, go take a look at Mike Tyson's rants, Ali's rants and so on. Boxing already has a bad reputation for a variety of reasons, Angel just adds more weight to the argument that boxing is a joke that is not to be taken seriously. The fighters who put their lives on the line deserve better than that. People like Angel Garcia only do a disservice to the sport and validate the belief of critics of boxing who think it is unethical, classless and undignified.

This is on the Promoter & the media. Hardline stand would be the Promoter saying no Angel in the corner, but I doubt they would do that, as DSG would probably refuse to fight.

But the promoter should refuse to have Angel at any future press conferences - he has shown that he cant be trusted. The press conferences represent the promoter's product, and the promoter has a right to refuse to feature Angel's ignorance.

Additionally, the media should never stick a microphone in front of Angel. He will speak ignorance, so DO NOT GIVE HIM A FORUM.

Angel may have a right to be speak his ignorant racism, but we all have the responsibility to NOT GIVE HIM A FORUM. Ignore him, his words are useless anyways. So he can just be like the crazy homeless I see on the street, spewing nonsense, but everyone just ignores them.

This is the most sensible approach. Angel's rants, though entertaining to some people, ultimately hurts the promotion. So don't give him any rope. He can lead Danny's corner on fight night but otherwise ban him from press conferences and post-fight interviews.
