it is clearly fkn obvious that Golovkin should have secured Canelo contractually..... because anything can happen within the next 12 months, Golovkin could miss that fight completely

and it is also clearly fkn obvious that Saunders has been waiting for Canelo..... that fight was arranged last year..... Warren has publicly confirmed on MULTIPLE occasions that they have already discussed that fight..... so why didn't Hypekin sign the contract when it was sitting right in front of him?..... why didn't he do what ANY OTHER FIGHTER would do, and take the money?

oh right..... you expected the SUPERSTAR Canelo to wait, and then roll over for, lil'G..... right?

          LMFAO

you clowns just love rolling out that lame line to justify Golovkin's resume..... "he fights whoever is willing to share the ring with him"..... well, Saunders is willing to share the ring with Canelo in September, and Golovkin is not.....

..... it is truly ******ed to think that Canelo would/should wait for Golovkin

Team Bullshht know that Saunders is waiting in line for Canelo..... they are UTTER FOOLS for not blocking that fight by either..... a) offering Saunders enough money to make the fight happen, like they did with Jacobs, because offering him 1.5mil made them look like the lame second-rate fk's that they happen to be..... b) contractually obligating Canelo, to ensure they fight him in September.

those losers have done nothing to make the fight happen
          Quack mother ****ing quack.

Does Canelo fly north for the winter?

That was the plan all along. The WBO belt was just to gain leverage with all fights at or above 160. Winning 154 WBO automatically makes him mandatory for the WBO belt at 160 which Saunders holds. Canelo used that leverage already over Chavez. People forget Canelo made the offer to Chavez for the fight and for weeks Chavez and his daddy cried about the amount and were trying to shake down Canelo for more money saying unless they upped the offer no fight. All a sudden WBO announced Canelo as a mandatory for Saunders and Chavez knew that if he turned down the payday Canelo was going to fight Saunders instead. Days later Chavez agreed to fight Canelo and didn't get a penny more. After Chavez if GGG keeps turning down all the money that's on the table Canelo will say ok then I'm fighting Saunders for WBO and you can wait till 2018. Canelo can offer Saunders more money then GGG can so that's who Saunders will fight if Canelo and GGG don't fight each other next.

Yep. Looks like we're realistically 14 months away when GGG will be 36, all according to Oscar's plan.

I predicted it, and so did Frank Warren..... he publicly stated on numerous occasions that they were pursuing the Canelo fight, and Golden Boy Promotions confirmed it on numerous occasions

Team Golovkin did EVERYTHING they could to ensure that Canelo/Saunders happens.....

                a) low-balling Saunders, thereby killing their opportunity

                b) over-pricing themselves with Canelo, killing that opportunity

they reaped what they sowed, which is absolutely nothing

they were called Team Bullshht, now they are Team Dumbass
GGG isn't starving but yeah! Take the lowball money and kick Canelo's ass if you can..Either way I don't think they will ever fight but GGG has already made $25 mil so I'm not going to lose any sleep over it

... Or Alvarez will simply continue on with his career at catchweights, if Golovkin doesn't come around to accepting the money that Alvarez has offered. Catchweight fights against Cotto, Chavez Jr and Timothy Bradley, or simply fights inside the Golden Boy banner (Stevens/Monroe/Lemieux to begin with) all have enough name ID to them to get Alvarez paid handsomely. And, were Alvarez to look towards picking up a title in a third division, "Zurdo" Ramirez is available with another WBO title.

Golovkin would have his trinkets, but he'd still owe the WBO mandatory defense against Khurtsidze, with the IBF and WBC mandatories following shortly after.

You add that Golovkin would be 35 years old by the time he fought Saunders, and on his way to 36 by the time he cleared up his mandatories to even entertain a voluntary fight.

Alvarez has plenty of options; Golovkin, not so much

GGG has a contract worth 15m and still won't sign. This is on GGG and nobody else. He phuked up the fight in 2016 because he refused to drop weight despite saying for YEARS he'd go to 154 or 168 for a big fight. Well the biggest fight of his life was there last year all he had to do was go to 155 or maybe even 156 get's it done. Now we see that even with weight not being a issue he still making negotiations difficult refusing a 15m offer. GGG and Jacobs combined making less then 5m and he turning down 15m? SMH Chavez got the fight because he agreed to 6m, sure he bluffed for a few extra bucks but rather then hold out years and pray to land the fight later on he did what the B side is supposed to do compromise to get the fight NOW rather then later. GGG could learn a thing or 2 from Chavez. He dropped weight and took less then he wanted to get the fight now. GGG will be 40 and washed up before he learns this lesson.

Canelo is going to hide behind that 'flat fee' BS for the rest of Golovkin's career. He is not ducking his promoter his, Canelo is the golden goose and won't take an 'L'. It's sad, they know Golovkin has what 2 maybe 3 years left? Canelo is 26 or something. It's pathetic but that's boxing these days, hence why I tune into UFC more often.
