Yep but he's not a middleweight according to fishnets.
As you know, training weight and weigh-in weight are two different things. A big middleweight could weigh 160 on the scales one night and actually fight at 182 the next night. But your point is well taken, Canelo could have easily been fighting at 160 for the last few years.

He's a lil slow and doesn't realize that a lot of these guys fight 15-20 lbs below their walk around weight. And he doesn't realize most of the Belts require a the fighters NOT to be over a certain % at the 30 day weigh-in.

Chavez will never make 165 lbs in May. Trumps wall will be built before Chavez ever sees 165 lbs.

It would be nice to have a mandatory weigh in right before the fighters hands are wrapped in order to know the weights when the fight actually takes place. Hey, maybe Khan was right! Canelo gained 30 lbs and weighed 185 when they fought, or then again maybe the knockout did more damage to Khan than we thought.

Alvarez already sparred with GGG when around 17 or 18 years old. A lot has changed since then.
