I completely understand Hunter's points and Ward's position. He is whining a little too much but I know it's got to piss him off to watch what is being done to his fighter.
The NSB response to his lawsuit was exactly as Hunter described as was the post fight reaction.
I hope he doesn't retire. He doesn't need to adopt a "Money" or some fake persona either. he needs to give Kov the rematch, and then keep fighting and move on to the rest of the LHW division.Comment

Either way a HOFer. If HBO wants its post-communists to shine off of his name he should make a move. He already took the guy's belts and 0. And he has plans for after the ring. Why not leave while still articulate, intelligent and healthy. Let the Kovalev's of the world fight for less than they're worth to appease HBO and its band of loser fansComment

I think the thing that most of the sensitive in their feelings/emotional posters are missing is that Ward wants a TV deal. The Kovalev rematch is being held up by HBO reluctance to give him a multi-fight deal that starts with a Kovalev fight. What's funny is that he has had the same message since the end of the fight...he is looking for the right deal. There has been no crying as people have said. He mentioned retirement once and now he gets asked about it. Even now, Ward isn't talking it's HUNTER.Comment

No way Ward retires, this can't be an option!
Hunter must slap some sense into SOG tell him to prove that he's the better man without question, and in that fight there is disputed things there!
Kov found another way late to stop Ward from going his body, by giving in return body attacks and Ward wanted none of that!
Kov knew how to negate Ward from coming in with his head and when he hits and holds, by tying him up and controlling where his head was at!
Ward did a great job of adjusting by taking it soley on the inside and landing jabs when he can but I'm sure Kov figured that Ward will target his body again and this time Kov will go to Wards body but much earlier versus doing it in the 12th round!
