Two competitive, back and forth fights. Decent card so far.

And these two were some of the talents of the "super" talented 154 division.
Basically, this weightclass is a joke.
The only bigger joke is the fact this was for a belt.

During feel out rounds soon as dude gets on the ropes he's a easy target.

He was dominant as long as he could bounce around and use his legs. His stamina is pretty weak though considering his body looks like he does a fair bit of cardio. You have to have strong lungs and heart to be a good boxer, that is the core of the entire sport.

Kind of the way I see it too. It takes a lot of energy to constantly move around and fight a guy off you for 12 rounds.

Sure, Hurd looks strong, upped his pressure and Harrison was really bothered by it, but Harrison certainly doesnt react well to shots, you can tell by his whole body language that he doesnt like it tough.

Damn Harrison's batteries just don't last 12 rounds. Seems like he quit verbally or by saying f#ck it physically after saying he was good verbally to the ref. Idk. Would love to hear the refs take on what happened.

Detroit just don't make the same fighters they used to make when Manny & Kronk were around.

Hurd is a warrior. He never stopped coming forward. Brave performance. He took Harrison's best for 6 rounds then knocked him out. Gets himself in the crowded junior middleweight title scene. We need to see a unification there. Who's gonna get Canelo's WBO belt?

                      er ok then.
Izu had recovered enough to put Breazeale on his ass toward the end of the 4th so he must have had something left in the tank. But came out for the 5th with nothing left. This was a massive step up in competition for him and after controlling the first 2 rounds made some tactical errors and got beaten. Simple as that.
