**** he set his goals harder than most of you all set them for him
most of yall labled him number 3 p4p when he beat russell...
..which is fuggin crazy, but it happened.Comment

i question it..i only respect the russell win...i think sosa is his best opponent to date...there's a difference in discrediting and actually calling a spade a spade.Comment

Understandable. but I think if you take in account the number of fights he has had and who he is choosing to fight it's pretty unheard of. If nothing else you have to admire his gumption. His fighting like he is running out of time.

I mean, if he could pick up a W over Mikey Garcia then he's in the P4P list, no question.
That doesn't necessarily mean #1, but him and Garcia each would get a huge boost by beating the other guy. For Garcia it would be the exact same situation by beating Loma.
Right now it's the best fight to be made in boxing IMHO. I hope they don't mess around and they surprise us with this one sooner than we expect it, while the getting is still as good as it is.Comment

i didnt make this up..get his balls out your mouth and realize...he and TR robbed us of seeing the best match that had...they robbed us of 2 possible career opponets like pac and marquez...therefore he will never be on their level to me...Comment

As for comments about Loma-Rigo, ship sailed on that one.
Quite apart from the rather vocal and explicit opposition from Arum, there are two main problems:
1) Weight
- As Loma is settling into 130 and eyeing 135, wasn't too long ago that Rigo was saying 126 was too big for him
- since then Rigo has been saying he can now go to 126, but only when Loma isn't there any more
2) Rigo's age
- Rigo is 36. His recent performances show a notable decline from his earlier performances when younger, mainly in the foot speed. I still think he can beat everyone at 122, even with diminished skills, and maybe even clean out 126, but whereas I would be sure of it a few years back, just not so sure any more
Prime Rigo vs Loma, probably at around 124, is a historic fantasy match, and no idea who would have won.
Rigo isn't prime now, whereas Loma is prime, and bigger. A bigger, stronger Loma would take down a diminished Rigo with ease these days, and would prove nothing.Comment
