Canelo is much shorter, but he's also much more solid. I think it will actually help him significantly. Canelo LOVES going for the body, and against drained Chavez it will be a key. Being shorter will be a huge advantage for him since it will be more difficult for Chavez to cover up his midsection.

I expect them to weigh the same (180) on fight night and for Canelo to easily pull this out.

They kind of are. Chavez is really just kind of a s hitty 175 pounder who has to fight under that in order to have a size advantage to make up for his lack of skill. Still gotta support dinero de vaca. Dont think he'll win but he's from Sinaloa so...yeah

That's because their best fighting weight is almost 3 weight classes apart. Chavez can probably make 175 comfortably. Anything less is a strain. Canelo can make 154 because he just did last fight.
