they knew ward would never fight at 164 just like ward knew ggg would never accept 50-50 while he was canelos mandatory. it was just a bunch of posturing and publicity. only difference is you believe wards side because you like ward and dont like ggg. when both guys weren't posturing ggg wanted to fight ward and ward said no.

brook was the #1 welterweight. ggg's trying to fight everyone in his division while ward is not. hes avoiding a rematch with kovalev and refuses to fight stevenson so the answer clearly is ggg is trying to fight better competition.

NO! Team g string made it clear that a Ward/g string fight could only happen at 164. This after accepting 168 for both Chavez Jr and Froch. Clear duck on team g strings part. They knew Ward would be hard pressed to make 168 and couldn't make 164. They could act like they wanted the fight but not actually have to fight Ward.

Ward moved up a weight class to fight the #1 rated Lightheavyweight in the killer Kovalev and g string drug the number 3 or 4 rated welterweight up not one but two weight classes for a fight so who's trying to fight good competition and who isn't?

Yes Ward fought mediocre fighters after having time off. Golovkin has fought mediocre fighters his whole career. He turned down A-level Ward and is pissing about asking for more than he's worth with Canelo.

Not in the least. K2 told Ward that they wont be available for a fight until 2017 so Ward moved on, which he rightfully should have. He had no business left at 168.

Because they are desperate to make Golovkin look bad. Problem is nobody really knows what happened with the so called negotiations, there seems to be a number of conflicting reports.

Anyway, people from both sides need to let this go. Ward is at 175 now. Thanks.
