If he manages to stop Breazeale in better fashion than AJ then he would be making a clear statement of intent.

I hope Wilder faces someone in the top 5 in his next fight. If he doesn't it will be hard to keep defending him

I think Ugonoh should face "Big Baby" Miller or Stiverne before facing Wilder. Wilder should only be facing Luis "King Kong" Ortiz, Anthony Joshua, or Wladimir Klitschko, in his NEXT fight!

Izu isnt going to have the ability to toy with Breazeale like Joshua did, which is why its a 50/50 fight competitve fight BOTH guys have to TRY and win and end the fight when they can. Against Joshua ,Breazeale simply had no chance and it was clear as day joshua like other fights could have ended any time he wanted it to..

Wilder should face his mandatory or unify in his next fight. I really don't see anything wrong with the way his trainer Mark Breland is bringing him along. Let's not forget that DW only had about 30 amatuer fights so he's still kinda raw. It wasn't his fault that the WBC skipped him to the front of their rankings even though he was only facing marginal opposition. I think that he should follow a pattern and take on 2 decent fighters, 1 top 5 fighter, 2 decent, 1 top 5, until he's ready to face top competition only. All of the top fighters in boxing have extensive amatuer backgrounds: GGG, AJ, Lomachenko, Klitchko, Ward, Rigo, etc. To be great, Deontay Wilder has to play catch up.
