It will be interesting to see what Roach can do with him. He'll for sure have access to world class sparring partners.

That's interesting as I've always viewed Quigg as a quintessential Gallagher fighter. Interested to see whether Roach can leave his mark on him at this point

Really unsure about whether this might come off for Quigg. One the one hand, he's the kind of guy who Roach does well with. When he finally turned it up a notch he looked like he had the beating of Frampton, and leaving Gallagher might prevent him from just throwing away early rounds. On the flipside, he's always seemed to me to be a massive homebody, and I'm not sure his gym rat attitude can survive the culture change, particularly that he strikes me as being a bit thick as well. If he can adapt to LA well, then it might be what he needs, but I'd say it's 60-40 on going wrong. Let's see after his first fight.

Bad move, Roach is done as an elite trainer.
(He needs to step down and allow Z to take over 100%)

Good move on business, open up a new market. Freddie can set up a war or two for him. He has room to learn, but Freddie teaches a regressive style as far as he's concerned. He could teach Freddie about footwork.

A bit out of the blue this one. Pretty interesting though, i'm interested in seeing how it works out.

I've always felt Quigg is a little underrated. 126 is a tough division though.

Hopefully what he really means is he's joining Virgil Hunter or John Jackson, why not try some trainers in London either Tibbs or Simms. Roach doesnt teach head movement he teaches front runners with little defense. Wrong move.

Quigg has been training with Roach plenty of times before.

Still an odd one, but hope it works out for him.
