Comments Thread For: Haye: I Know I Can Beat Joshua, I Want To Fight Him Next

Former two division world champion David Haye is eager to secure a huge domestic showdown with Anthony Joshua - if the IBF world heavyweight champion defeats Wladimir Klitschko on April 29th at Wembley Stadium. Joshua (18-0, 18 KOs) vs. Klitschko (64-4, 53 KOs) will also have the vacant WBA, IBO world titles at stake.

Would have liked him to have at least fought a top 10 fighter before he gets a shot at Joshua but money talks and he knows how much the British public would eat this up.

Yea course you do David, you havent boxed a live soul in 5 years. Taking on a cruisweight for the money yet you some how deserve to be next in line for a title shot. I seriously hope he loses to Bellew, by any means...

People can say what they want about Haye but the fact is Haye v Joshua is massive in the UK and breaks all records here as it's a bigger fight in the UK then Wlad v Joshua. Haye is a big name over here like AJ especially with non boxing fans aswell so the casuals would be fully into this fight,

Delusional David .I used to be interested in this idiot.David is NOT the biggest fight on the planet.

David is making a mockery of the sport and I now look forward to seeing him hit the deck.

He has been fighting nobodies and thinks this is good enough to land him a title shot. His arrogance is misplaced and off the scale.

To think that he believes that fighting two nobodies on his comeback and then fighting a guy who has never before fought as a heavyweight and was sparked at 12st7lb is how delusional David Haye has become.

I hope his toe gets better soon.

It's time for Wilder to step in there now as he and AJ. would be electric

David is now carrying a lot of pounds and needs to prove that his can maintain the extra baggage before I consider paying a bean to watch him........I don't think he can and this is why you get this no risk attitude whilst trying to worm in to a undeserved title shot.

David haye is seriously overestimating how much the British public wants to see his fight. Does he think we are ******? The last time he stepped up he ended up crying about his toe.

If he really wanted to build this fight he would've fought Parker and won the WBO belt instead of fighting two postmen and a blown up light heavyweight.

I'd rather see josh unify then maybe take the haye fight if it's still there. Haye never wants to earn anything, thinks he can talk his way into a big fight. This tactic may have worked in the dark days of Tony tompson, ruslan chagaev etc but there are a lot more deserving challengers nowadays. Fight an Ortiz or a Top contender if you really want this fight. Words aren't enough anymore David we are tired of your ****
