If he never fights Canelo so what? Canelo is a great fighter and so is GGG but the world won't stop if they never fight. Lots of outstanding 154 to 160 pound boxers might never fight Canelo. Jacobs, Andrade, Jermall Eubank and others may never fight Canelo .Their careers will continue and they will just fight other good fighters instead. Brook and Khan may never fight either. Loma may never fight Crawford or Mickey Garcia either. Just because many fans want to see a particular fight doesn't mean that fight will ever happen. It might happen or it might not. That's up to the boxers and their promoters and their teams.

I don't know if Lil g is past it but this is the age where things start to go.

The added problem is Canelo is so young.

The 8 year gap with these ages?

That usually doesn't work out too well for the older guy all other factors kinda equal.

I think the pressure IS on Lil g to make the fight sooner rather than later.

Bumlovkin is NO Bernard Hopkins. Bumlovkin wont be anywhere near a 40 y/o Hopkins' level when he's 40. He isn't even close to a 40 y/o Hopkins @ 35. Lol...

If Mayweather fights McGregor in Sept then that pushes back Canelo Bumlovkin to Cinco de Mayo 2018 at the earliest. Team Triple Duck should have took the $15 mil dollar deal when it was put in front of them. They may never see that payday if the fight isn't made soon...

Time is definitely NOT on Golovkin's side.

                    Bernard at 35, no O.
GGG at the same age, flawless record.
