Floyd was the same way during his career; didn't use his example because Floyd never made a massive jump up in weight.

If Golovkin had no worry about making 160lbs and was simply on the regular pattern, there's no doubt in my mind that he'd at 168lbs, in a position not all that different from where Arthur Abraham was.

There's a reason why a near 35 year old is having to stay in camp year round, knocking off stumblebums to simply keep active

He made a thread the other day about how the WBC title wouldn't be on the line for this fight, that there was no 30 day weigh in because Jacobs refused to do VADA testing.

Let's see if he apologizes and retracts his lies. But I won't hold my breath.
Herewith, I officially apologize for the wrong information provided by me. However, I was not lying on purpose. I got my information from an insider. I hardly remember his name which was "Chollo Vista" or something similar. He told me he is part of Danny Jacobs' manager team and they want to sign GGG after the fight. He told me his information is 100% waterproof. Unfortunately, he was lying.

I hope so??? But when can we even say Cheat was clean?? I'm 1000% sure they were loaded against Cotto. That damage just didn't add up???

if floyd didnt fight marg for 7 million dollars and fought zab and sharmba for much less what makes you think he would fight marg if marg was his mandatory? he would just retire like he did and say no one is going to force me to fight! what a warrior
He got out of his contract and fought Baldomir for the same $7,000,000. Also Baldomir was more popular at the time. Baldomir was the Lineal Champion, WBC, WBA, IBF, IBA champion.

What did Cheato have?? The WBO belt. He also lost 2 fights before then. Cheato didn't become popular until 2007 NOT 2006.

But 99% of the fighters come in easily weighing near or over the next weight class above. Every fighter is big for their weight class since no one ever enters the ring at the weight they weighed in. I bet HBO and SHOWTIME have never had a single recording of a fighter doing that.

            • REYESdelBOXEO: I'm glad someone remembers Jose Pipino Cuevas. One of the most exciting fighters ever. One of my 6 favorite fighters. Made 11 successful defenses of his title, 10 by KO. Very underrated. He broke eye sockets, ribs, jaws, even turnbuckles. His only downfall was the end of his career came earlier than most because he turned pro at 14. Probably the most memorable half hook / half uppercut punch.

So get the fu.ck off your GGG pedestal and suck a fat one. The dude is a fraud. Pac got KTFO6 and UD12 and GGG got busted up by an average welter (whose best win was a controversial SD over Porter) after dragging him up 13 pounds.

                What a hero this GGG

Stop being so emotional you little girl, I know for a fact Brook didn't put on 13 lb for that fight, he just didn't lose as much muscle as usual, whereas Khan's weight gain was just fat. Think you can gain 13 lean pounds in a couple of months your smoking stuff you can't handle. But then you see a guy take a few and think he's been "busted up". You should go to a real gym and see what men who take punches think about Canelos belt drop instead of hanging with people who communicate by talking about sucking other men off you little prick.
Another dog**** poster literally avoids every factual point I have with his trashcan opinions.

Canelo is lil G's Daddy until proven otherwise because - FACTUALLY SPEAKING - lil G ducked the fight without a PROVEN counteroffer. In other words, your boy lil G, talked a big game and didn't back it up. Kind of like when he challenged Ward, but withdrew that challenge once it was accepted. Kind of like when he would fight anyone from 154-168, but required other fighters (Canelo, Brook - guys who fight at 1 or 2 smaller weight classes) to meet him at the full 160.

This GGG...man does he take risks ! Sorry gents the whole "I'm immigrant and don't understand, but just want to fight" act doesn't work after Pooch dried it out

The only trashcan I know about is the one Canelo dropped his belt in when he ducked Golovkin. Canelo said the weight didn't matter and he didn't **** around right before ducking out of the challenge. Nothing you rant on about can change that shameful episode. Brook bothers you, even though he was a stand in but Khan doesn't. Yeah I get exactly where your coming from. Now I know Canelo had Smith business round deal with and its not like he took on a Charlo or Andrade for a bit of money, no, he took on the great Liam Smith so I'll give you that. But while Golovkin fights the next best fighter in his division, Canelo drains Chavez down for another cash grab.
