One thing Holmes did was effectively jab to the body often ....wilder gets knocked off balance rather easily by this...still a wonder why no one initiates this tactic and keeps on it ? maybe Washington will read this? lol

Holmes by decision win...wilder may win 3 rnds? but holmes would know what im saying and do it!

Holmes. None of the recent heavyweights are anything special besides the Klitschko brothers in their prime.

OP is clearly shook by Wilder's potential.

Holmes by mid round KO. Not even close.

I think what Shavers did to Holmes below would have finished Wilder and all current Heavyweights:

came back and won the fight.

Don't think any modern heavys would have got up from a that punch from Shavers.
Shows just how durable and tough Holmes was.
Holmes would control Wilder with his excellent jab and tee off at will until Wilder would wilt.
6-8 rds stoppage for Holmes, he was not a heavy puncher but accurate and fought a lot better quality than todays heavies.
