Did anyone really expect anything different?

Granados was going to be relentless, Broner was going to be flashy. Broner was going to lose a bunch of rounds (just like he's done since Ponce - hell, let's go back to Quintero). Broner was going to look to counter Granado's habit of reaching in. Broner was going to do a load of holding. Granados would lose a close decision, however the fight went. Broner would do a cringeworthy interview with Jim Grey.

Broner was given a hometown decision (split decision in own town in a place filled with his people means receiving a gift). And let's not forget that the original weight was 142 #s but it was raised to give more advantages to him.

Not surprised at all, Granados is good. In fact i'm more surprised that Broner escaped with a decision. And people acting like Broner sucks because of this, you are all actually taking away from Granados who's a good fighter, give him his props and say Broner looked bad simply because AG is a good fighter. There should be a rematch.

I agree that Broner won't do well vs the best at WW but I think Granados gives DSG, Thurman, Brook all a tough fight. Granados is the king of close fights when it comes to being an opponent for seemingly better fighters.

CompuBox doesn't tell the whole story. All punches thrown or landed aren't created equally. However, I will watch it again tomorrow. Give me a little time to step away from the fight.

Does anybody else notice how dangerous bronzer can be with his head though?
He was "ducking" waaaay below the waist line (while looking away) and coming straight up then... caused the (I presume) broken nose...

A lot of fighters are getting away with this recently, and it's very dangerous for other fighters

Broner said he might fight at 154, he could cash out against Canelo.

                    so broner has lost to

                    ponce de leon
                    paulie malignaggi
                    maidana
                    porter
                    granados.

                    so his record is

                    30-5-0-1 (24 ko)
