Comments Thread For: Granados on Broner Boast: I Don't Get My Ass Beat, Hand 'Em Out

Adrien Broner and Adrian Granados have remained respectful toward one another throughout the promotion of their fight. Until Friday. After Broner (32-2, 24 KOs) and Granados (18-4-2, 12 KOs) weighed in, Broner predicted he will "beat his ass" in their 10-round welterweight fight Saturday night in Cincinnati.

"..as a promoter I can’t be as disrespectful as I usually be." lol As a promoter, Broner should also learn to speak english!

The guys who beat Granados are pretty good, except for the first loss, idk who that is and I didn't see that fight. Solomon was good but never really stepped up, it's hard to dominate Solomon because of his style. Frankie Gomez is plain good, but also needs to step up. He dominated Herrera pretty badly. Felix Diaz is another good fighter. But it does nothing for your career to narrowly lose to good fighters. Sooner or later you have to win like he did vs Imam, he has to do that again here. It's gonna be tough though. Granados has to put the Maidana fight on replay and replicate that, he has the size and relentless determination to copy Maidana rather than copying Porter.

It's possible but keep in mind Granados has some good physical attributes over Broner like height (5'6" vs 5'9"), reach (74" vs 69"), these are important beause of Broner's fake Mayweather style that he doesn'[t exactly know how to use so he gets ruffled easily and starts 'fighting' instead of boxing. You can also say that Granados has the edge in mentality, just because he's never actually gotten beat up, Broner has gotten beat up by Maidana. Broner can get flashbacks of the Maidana beating if Granados goes all out like he did vs Imam. He has that relentless aggression that makes Broner panic.

Broner beats guys like this. Broner is a worse version of Zab Judah. Beats guys on the fringe of top 10/lower top 10 and loses to everyone in the top 5. That's unless he can fight at 130.

I gotta feeling Broner might struggle a little bit early but eventually stop Granados. Besides Broner knows he can't afford to lose this fight. "IF" Granados loses i hope he's able to get another big fight...... I thought this was going to be a 12 round fight SMH hopefully it ends with a ko
