  • Comments Thread For: Joshua Says a Win Over Klitschko Won't Make Him World's Best

Anthony Joshua believes that even victory over Wladimir Klitschko will not earn him widespread recognition as the world's leading heavyweight. With victory at Wembley Stadium on April 29, the IBF champion can also win the WBA/IBO titles and the scalp of the heavyweight who, in the absence of Tyson Fury, is considered the planet's finest.

Waiting for the "he's got no charisma" crew to pipe up. When a fighter talks sense on they come like the girls who only like the bad boy. "He's too nice".. He's right of course, he'll have to silence Fury. But if he wins against Wlad he's the best on resume, or at least equal first.

All you Juicehua fanboys are acting like AJ is about to KO a prime Klitschko

If he was fighting a HW that hadnt fought in 2 year's, people would be like wtf this is a joke? the fact he's also:

            A) Shot
            B) 41 years old
            C) Gunshy and terrified to throw punches

Makes it even worse. It's all name value though, pretending like he might not be shot....when we all know he is.

It seems that Joshua, Hearn and Sky are doing everything they can to not mention the fact Wlad has lost to Fury. They're still talking about Wlad like he's the super dominant champion he was, well he isn't.

If Joshua wins, he deserves credit and it's a very good win regardless so i'll never discredit the actual win. The aftermath will be awful though with the media and casuals sucking his c*ck for it, when Fury got no credit for beating a younger, active and champion version of Wlad.

I don't even want to imagine the way Skysport and Hearn would go about that. Especially that cringing Adam smith and Johnny nelson.

That's why it will be a sweet sight if Wlad knocks him out in the middle of Wembley stadium. Nothing against Joshua himself as i wish him all the best, but for the look on the faces likes of Smith and Nelson, that will be worth the PPV alone.

I think it's because the Fury/Wlad fight was so boring it was hard for people to be excited about it. especially casuals. It could also have been more so that Wlad beat himself rather than Fury being too good.It was still an impressive feat nonetheless and I don't take anything away from Fury but that would be my theory on why people are ignoring that.
