I think a lot of the hate he gets is because he's so mild mannered and quiet a lot of the times, and let's his dad dominate all his press conferences, amd interviews.
Makes him still look like a kid, and a daddy's boy that's scared to tell him to stfu once in a while. Also, the fact that he doesn't tell him to chill the **** out makes it seem like Danny thinks the same way as him, and agrees with him, even if he says that's just my pops, you know how crazy he is, with his goofy ass smile.
