what quality? Am i missing all these killers at 154? Charlos moving up cause its a hunk of **** division, as most of these 'jr' weights usually are. Was shocked when i saw people were saying 154 was best division in boxing in that thread the other day. Swear i follow a different sport to most of you lot.

he'll struggle at 160. big step up in quality from 154. in my opinion 154 is the most overrated division in the sport.

Well 154, 147, 130, 115 and CW are the ones everyone raves about as being very deep.
IMO 154 has some depth but some highly skilled fighters at th top end too. Lara has world class skills and Jermall is close to elite skills. Canelo was up there too. Andrade looks to have world class skills but is too inactive to confirm it. Jermell not bad, Julius will come again.
Of course, now Canelo and Charlo have left the division is compromised. It never really took off as it should have done. Lara vs Canelo was good but Andrade hasn't fought one top fighter and Canelo vs Jermall would have been great. That might still happen though at 160.
Now if Andrade would move up to MW that would make MW a hot division again.

HAHAHAHA people here suggeting him vs GGG? You want to see Charlo getting totally destroyed in his first fight at 160? Haymon would NEVER, ever ever let that happen and even the Charlos themselves know they'd need more than a miracle to even survive more than 6 rounds vs GGG.

That kid has to fight some low tier opponents first, let him beat somebody of the caliber of Korobov, Khurtszide or Monroe Jr. and i doubt even he fights these kinds of middleweights, he'll take on even a lower tier guy that has no chance like Akavov, Ishe Smith or Gabe Rosado.
