I'm sure Yvon Michel plan is already Stevenson vs Bute which I'm assuming would be HUGE in Canada?

So no discipline for Bute failing a test? Just "Bute Failed But Next He Is Fight Alvarez In A Eliminate" then WTF is the point of testing?

        dude.....

I am also a Ward fan, and a Stevenson fan

can you tell me how you came to that conclusion ?

        in detail

I follow boxing very closely, and NOTHING whatsoever has happened that could possibly justify you drawing that conclusion

        1) I haven't heard Ward/Stevenson mentioned ONCE, by anyone..... not by the media, not by insiders, and not by fans..... oh, except I think Stevenson mentioned Ward once recently, AFTER Ward got that win over Kovalev LMAO

        2) that fight will obviously happen, likely straight after Kovalev

        3) it is absurd to suggest that Ward would duck Stevenson

        4) there has been NO opportunity whatsoever, for that fight to have taken place..... NONE

        what am I missing ?

..... what did YOU see, that I missed ?

what, another one? if you truly "deserved a title shot", you wouldn't have said that LMAO

didn't Bute get caught doping TWICE ?

where there is smoke there is fire

you beating Alvarez would likely confirm that we need better drug testing, and better penalties for athletes who get caught

back in the day..... if an athlete got caught doping, his career was over

not because of penalties, or because he got banned

because he was regarded as a low-life piece of shht, who subsequently could not find a sponsor, contract, or fan..... he was ostracized, in disgrace

not referring to Bute/Povetkin here, ar anyone in particular..... many fighters have been caught, including some of my favorites

the difference is..... standards are now significantly lower, they have dropped drastically..... as-in, plummeted through the floor

            when did that happen?

when did using PED's become understandable/acceptable?..... especially within boxing?

it was very recently, that's for sure

Holyfield/Mosley - and even guys like Roy Jones/Klitschko - were rightly castigated..... with fans removing them from ATG lists, etc.....

even Armstrong was ostracized for his recent disgrace

this is my perception, especially within boxing..... which I follow very closely

before Pacquiao, steroid abuse was totally unacceptable..... now, PED use is understandable/acceptable, because "everyone" does it

            is that perception accurate ?

the public accepting/defending Pacquiao's refusal to submit to random blood testing - FOR WHATEVER REASON - was totally disgraceful, totally unacceptable, and an indictment on the dreadful shabby standards that the human race are often happy to adopt, when it suits them..... even birds don't shht in their own nest

under amateur regulations..... if you refuse - or even obstruct - a random blood test, FOR ANY REASON..... you are stripped/banned and branded as a drug cheat..... they will not even ask for your weak excuse, because there are no excuses

you cvnts shat all over this sport when you lowered the standards for Pac

            thanks for that

What can you say about Bute? He defended the IBF 168 belt like 10 times before he got cobra'd. HE was never the same, he got beaten by Pascal at 175 already, Alvarez should beat him as his best days were pre Carl Froch. Not even PEDS could get him a win against Jack.
