I dont think anyone doubts that Paulie was the better fighter in his prime. And thar he has faced much better fighters in the past.

The issue is where he is now in his career, fighting vs a style which traditionally has been a nightmare for him.

Eggington is very raw. But he is a big WW, and an out and out brawler.

I think Paulie wins the first 4-7 rounds, after that Egg can catch up to him with constant pressure.

Also, i dont think this version of Malignaggi is the best that Eggington has faced. Super Skeete is better imo, although he has been held back for some reason after beating the Egg.

Paulie's lost the vast majority of his big fights so I'm not sure Eggington needs to the best he's faced to beat him.

Oh yeah The Magic Man! So glad he continued his career after the Garcia fight, Errbody talk s*** on him but he is a throwback fighter and fights ANYBODY. Ok 7 losses but don't be questioning his heart and desire, he is on another level than Eggington and if he can't win a comfortable decision he will know it's time to hang them up. I think he has only started realising how much he enjoys his boxing in the last couple of years and good for him. He is a 2 division champion and can box!

I think the Egg might stop him.

I want Paulie to win though. I like his podcast and he seems like a good man.
