He's always been trying to get much tougher fights.. Almost fought David Tua but Tua pulled out because he said he was too rusty, Briggs has constantly been trying to get fights with high ranked fighters but hasn't had any luck, hes talking **** so that maybe somebody will offer him a fight, like brewster, if he gets offered a tough fight guaranteed he will take it

We really don't know if he is a bum or not, he hasnt fought a great fighter recently, and nobody wants to step up and see if briggs is for real or not, personally i think he's for real

what makes you think he's for real now when he's lost to nobodies like darrol wilson,,and sedrick fields. he also drew with botha and was soundly beaten by jameel mcline. now he's 273 lbs for this fight which sure isnt an indication that he's taking this game any more seriously

its a different briggs now though, the jameel mcline fight and prior he wasnt that serious about boxing, he was in HORRIBLE shape for the mcline fight, and he looks much much better in the ring today, he did come at 273, but he didn't look slow at all against koval, he does train hard though. I'm definetely not for sure that hes for real, but after seeing his jab and his over performance against koval I really want to see him against someone decent, like brewster. Briggs is at his prime now, and a young briggs with far less skills gave lewis a scare in that first round. If his next fight isnt against someone good ill be pissed
