    How good is Stevenson really?

He's not even in the top 20 for me but I wanna know how other people rate him. I know for the top 10 p4p I don't really know anybody who rates him (I could be wrong).

It's hard to say because of how inactive he has been, and when he has fought it's been against bad competition in the last few years. And this is all while he approaches 40 years old. I would pick 4 current light heavyweights over him currently in matchups.

Top 3 in his division until he losses. Not a p4p top ten fighter but he's not far behind either. He was on his way after 2013 but just halted all his momentum after that. The switch to Showtime and Duva/Kov's take back of the immediate purse bid hurt him as well.

He's a top 3 guy at 175 however you cut it. P4P is bs so top 20 there is childlike sci-fi nonsense and doesn't reallllly mean anything.

He certainly hasn't helped his cause fighting bs opposition doe.

It's hard to gauge because he has not beaten an elite fighter. He upset Dawson, his best win, after Dawson was stopped by Ward. He stopped Cloud after Hopkins took Cloud's 0. He beat a past prime Bika who I think retired after that. Fonfora and Bellew were decent wins. Williams was an okay win because he had just upset Rodriguez.

How would Stevenson look like vs:

            Ward
            Kovalev
            Beterbiev
            Barrera
            Alvarez
            Smith Jr

My impression of him is that he's a really strong, athletic fighter but it's hard to guess just how good he is because we haven't seen him in with the top guys in his division. I would expect him to be competitive with the best in his division but I really can't say with absolute certainty.

is an old man now so likely isnt in his prime. I think he was a tremendous fighter though, was extremely impressed with his performance against bellew. Know bellews not amazing but hes a solid B fighter and stevenson outclassed him so easily. However for some reason he ddint have the confidence in himself to fight kovalev, and its likely with his age that hes not going to be able to beat him now

A thunderous puncher and one of the best finishers in the psort for many, many years. Beyond that, I don't know what else to say. AT one point he KOd the bets light heavy on the planet and battered top contenders such as Bellew and Cloud. Since then, he has stepped in with Karpency and Williams Bika when he could have fought a higher level of fighter - Pascal, Hopkins and Kov.

At 40 years old, how fast will he break apart? Who knows. He hasn't tested himself enough for us to know for sure.
