The better question is why is it such a disgrace to lose to a fighter of Kell Brook's caliber?

This is why boxing has some of the worst fans and the sport is on its last leg. Fighters are dismissed so quickly after they take Ls. You deserve the crap matchmaking that promoters give you with that type of mentality.

Hype is good for boxing. I'm all for hyping more fighters. However, guys like Julian Williams never had any hype in real life, besides on this message board and couple of boxing personality's twitter accounts.
Broner and Golovkin had real hype. Broner didn't live up to it, Golovkin did.

I personally think that Spence will win. I think Kell looked good at 160. He came down significantly to even make 160. I believe he was 176 only 30 days out from that fight. That indicates he may walk around in the mid 180's. Making 147 is going to damage and weaken him severely.

And that is not to diminish Spence. I think Spence is a monster.

Fair play, but with a 10-7 round he did not need nine ; a 7-5 round would of made it a draw -- six rounds is feasible with the two knockdowns.
