I think he is just a fair fighter. I know this might sound like 20 20 hindsight but I thought many fans had him overrated going into his fight with Jermall. I expected Jermall to win by KO with no problem. Jermall is one hell of a fighter. I don't think Julian Williams ever was or ever will be anything special. He isn't that bad but he isn't that good in my honest opinion.

He's a good solid fighter, specially offensively. I don't see him living up to the hype.

It's hard to ignore the fact he was badly hurt by a jab. It's not only that he was dropped, his legs were gone for a while there.

Yeah Charlo can ****, but the dude couldn't even hurt an over the hill Trout, who's been dropped in almost every fight since Alvarez.

Lol what? In what way is he like a young hopkins?

The guy is way too open for counters, is ring movement is awkward and he doesn't know how to pick his shots.

The guy stepped up and got hammered. Not beat but thoroughly hammered.

The guy is decent to watch and I'm sure he can be a gate keeper of some quality but I'll never understand where the hype comes from.

I was one of the few picking Charlo to win, but Williams surprised me, he was quality and the fight was close until he got caught, but Jermall is a beast.
I wish the best to Williams who seems to be a nice guy and a true old school hard worker.

After the Terrell Gausha fight last week I'd like to see them paired up together.

A lot of questions will be answered for both men.

Still very high on J Rock, he can and will bounce back I just give more credit to Jermall Charlo more than trying to make J Rock into "JUST A HYPE JOB" as the trolls on this forum love to call everybody. Jermall Charlo was a massive 154 fighter and looked even bigger fight night like he was the size of a Light Heavyweight despite the IBF 10lbs Re-hydration limit

But J Rock will be fine, wasn't knocked out Cold, got up from some Big Shots and the Ref Stepped in and rightfully so

I think he is something like Mike Jones. After next lose he will be gone forever.

Get with the program sicko. Every fighter that loses on this site is automatically a hyped up bum who'll never amount to anything if they lose. Meanwhile after having said that i'll go on about how even the most legendary fighters have losses as if losses are ok

The ease with which Charlo was hurting him is a bad, bad sign. For his sake that needs to be an outlier. He looked good in that fight but he couldn't take a freaking punch. Charlo can crack but he's not THAT devastating.
