Looking back on it Manny Pacquiao had a fairly terrible career

Was Roy really that bad?
I only watched the fight twice and the second time was when I realized how ****ty the commentary was in general, but I don't remember Roy being as bad or as biased as Lampley.
People say Lampley always hypes Pac during fights even when he misses punches (Clottey, Marquez 3 for example), but he did the opposite during the Floyd fight and didn't even acknowledge punches that Pac landed.
I think, they thought the world knows who Floyd is, and that he's the boring ring technician, while Manny's the wild savage guy, so they'll try and seem smart by siding with the technician.Comment

Roy didn't call any Manny punches, and the entire crew followed suit. It was downright bizarre. Like there was so much pressure to seem unbiased, because more people were watching than anytime in boxing history, so they overdid it.

Manny was never going to beat Mayweather at any time or weight 130 and above, he ****** his fanbase into thinking he was going to dominate Floyd with this two fisted rampage, well that's was just hype and was never going to happen, if it was going to happen Manny would have stopped all his much lesser than Floyd opponents like Roach said he would.
Manny is not on Floyds level that's why he lost.Comment

No man, Pacman is a legend of the sport even though he is just fighting in **** fights now. His run he had was pretty great back when he was just running through everyone. He did decline after the JMM KO though ill agree and has been very underwhelming since then.Comment

Manny had an awesome career! Sure, some fights of his were easy tune ups but many he did fight the best.
1) Destroyed Barrera who was still in his prime
2) Fought Juan Manuel Marquez 4 times which all 4 fights were evenly matched fights
3) Lost to Morales, one of the best mexican fighters ever, but then beat him
4) Beat De La Hoya when most thought he would lose(Was Oscar's own fault for going back down to 147)
5) Beat Cotto who was still pretty good
6) Beat Clottey who would give anyone problems
7) Beat Tim Bradley who beat the man who beat him
8) Lost to Floyd but was competitive with him
9) Fought Algeri who took out Provodkinov who was a beast at the time who later had a very close fight with Khan
10) Destroyed Magarito's eyes.Comment

The world was in shock including commentators because Manny was reduced to not being able to do anything, the entire hype machine revolved around Manny being too aggressive and throwing a 1000 punches.

When I look back on his resume im torn. I just think Arums greed took his career on a path of too many rematches.
Erik Morales twice
Juan Marquez 4 times
Tim Bradley 3 times
I just think he could have done so much more. But as Pac fans will say he is still a 7 division champ.Comment
