Lindsey Tucker, the IBF’s championships chairman, confirmed to BoxingScene.com on Monday that a purse bid for the Brook-Errol Spence Jr. welterweight title fight has been canceled because the two sides have reached an agreement for a May 20 fight in Brook’s hometown of Sheffield, England.

Both are accurate. Spence will trade but Brook has heavier hands. I've never seen Spence hit with anything solid so I don't know how he'll deal with one of those punches that snapped GGGs head back.

If Spence keeps it long and doesn't let Brook maul him he could cruise to a tidy points margin.

I wouldn't book anything yet, Brook has been known to pull out of fights. I think Spence will blast him within 8.

The demographic are absolutely devastated. They were desperately hoping Brook would duck this fight and Spence fight a completely overmatched opponent for a vacant belt rather than getting to see whether Spence is the goods or not. These people are not boxing fans in the slightest.

Thats the best way of putting it but one thing is feeling ok. getting down I don't think he could possibly know after eleven torrid rounds because of his reductions how much would be left in the tank.

I too want no excuses if he loses but sad to say this i'm thinking is always going to an issue.

Yeah, of course it can be a factor. I'm just saying he Brook has chosen to do it then we should hear no excuses. Afterall, the fight is not just about the night, its about the training and making weight. If he can't do it then it's his problem as it was his decision.

Never said he "WOULD" just saying wait and see and make sure everything goes well during Camp that is all. I don't think Brook is afraid of ANYBODY at 147 and he shouldn't be especially after fighting GGG
