We have the lineal champ Adonis, Kov, Ward,Beterviev and now Badou is moving up Joe Smith, Barrera Clev this guy Oleksandr Gvozdyk (12-0)

iPretty soon we will have all these dudes fighting each other unlike the 147 division
I'd agree 175 is probably the best weight class right now. However I think I'd take HW over 147 - too many people in 147 trying to protect their names, the good matches are getting made. Meanwhile at HW, there is AJ, Wilder, Klitch, maybe Fury, and then a load of second tier talent who isn't as good, but fun fighters to follow; Parker, Hughie, Ortiz, Briggs, Haye, Stiverne, Puvlev, Ruiz, Whyte, Molina...

That said, 115 is probably the most top heavy division in boxing atm with Estrada, Gonzalez, Inoue and Cuadras.
147 is extremely overrated. Talent wise if porter is a top 5 in your division its not too impressive. He's pretty limited Garcia and Thurman is also pretty limited.

175 is it for me. Those guys can box and move well plus all of them have ko power so it's also very exciting.

Even if you remove Porter. You have Brook, Thurman, Manny, Bradley, and Danny. All legit. Then you have the new crop like Diaz, Spence, Ponomarev and I know I'm missing a few. Plus it almost certainly has the best overall set of champions in boxing. Anyways, calling the division extremely overated is a bit over the top imo.

                  147 is barren...

Thurman is pretty unproven. Garcia hasn't done much at the weight. Winner of Brook/Spence is OK.

You've really only got Pacquiao and Bradley to a lesser extent, who himself has disappeared. The division pretty much died when Floyd left, and Manny is pretty much cashing out.

It baffles me why people try to promote welterweight as some loaded division, when its really not

Cruiserweight has to be in the conversation. Along with Super Featherweight.

The HW has become a very talent deep division. You got Klitschko, Joshua, the Furys (Tyson & Hughie), Parker, Wilder, Ortiz and a bunch of other up-and-coming guys. I think 2017 will give us some really good competitive fights.
