With a purse bid scheduled for Tuesday looming, promoter Eddie Hearn is confident an agreement will be reached before then for a Kell Brook-Errol Spence Jr. welterweight title fight. Hearn whose company, Matchroom Sports, promotes Brook and promoter Tom Brown, who's representing Spence, have continued to negotiate so that they don't have to attend a purse bid scheduled for Tuesday at the IBF's headquarters in Springfield, New Jersey. With the fight apparently close to being finalized, Hearn can't quite believe so many fans and media have doubted Brook's willingness to take this dangerous fight against Spence (21-0, 18 KOs), the mandatory challenger for Brook's IBF welterweight title.

I've watched a lot of Eddie Hearn videos where he references what people are saying on Twitter. Well UK boxing twitter is lining up against Brook if he drops the belt. Hearn is obsessed with the fans opinion on Twitter and even engages the trolls. I know it sounds silly but this is the reason I believe the fight will happen.

Brook went up to 160 and now he's going back down to 147? Dude's crazy, who knows if his body will even allow him to boil back down.

I'll still give Brook the edge, but man do I want Erroll Spence to represent Dallas bad in this fight. Put him and the city on the worldwide map and have a coming out party. I believe he can do it, but I'm not ****** enough to look past Brook's talents. Will be a good scrap when it happens
