Hahahaha, you're talking about same Deontay Wilder who said "I'll fight Parker in April!!!", despite there zero chance that he would actually back up for a unification fight just 6 weeks after his "comeback" fight. And he still proceeded to put conditions on his callout.

That's like calling out someone to fight in a parking lot in 2 hours, despite them being a 4 hour flight away. And insisting on them picking up a Big Mac combo on the way, just to add another speed bump.

Although, Alabamian's ain't so good with counting, so I'm sure his PR stunt went down a treat there. They can't even count to 37, which is the number of fights Wilder has had without proving a damn thing.

Nobody on Wilders side is procrastinating like Team Parker. Dont pretend they did not express interest in fighting Deontay but despite the latest statement contradicting any immediate encounter that they once aspired to bring into fruition here you are still trying to spin this off on Deontay....because we know you guys are ALWAYS going to find fault and blame Wilder despite all evidence suggesting the opposite.

I do enjoy poking and prodding Wilder's defenders though, they're a tetchy bunch.

He flat out refused to fight Luis Ortiz. He flat out refused to fight Shannon Briggs. He could have had Jarrell Miller, easily. Nope, none of it got done. He could easily step in to fight Ruiz or Whyte - two guys way ahead of the D-level scrubs he keeps picking up.

I give him a pass for the Povetkin situation (obviously). But that's a card that can't be played to negate a career of bumfighting.

But no - he'll continue calling out guys in timeframes that make zero sense - while putting disclaimers on it. Then end up settling for another tuneup. And round and round we go.

Other people making ridiculous callouts, doesn't make Wilder's any less ridiculous. It is possible for more than one person to be a muppet at any given time.

We're going to disagree on a number of points here, that's totally fine. I'm excited about the thought of Wilder stepping up, hopefully he finds a way to get in the ring with someone credible before his 40th fight.

Wilder is a mismanaged clown going nowhere in boxing and Wilder is unknown in America. Wilder could rob a bank without a mask on and still not be caught. Wild has a joke career going on.

Very tiresome, and more folks are groaning at this point at him to step up. Looks like Haymon is keeping him away from certain fighters and it seems like one of them is now on the WBC rankings despite Wilder's comments about him and the "Clean Boxing Program"

I don't think it's that at all tbh. I get the impression they're content with letting Joshua build up his name for that big PPV payday. Wilder has made some ridiculously good money for a guy with smallish fan base in the US. (Just got 4.5 million from the Povetkin court decision too)

Up to this point it actually didn't seem all that imperative to take the trip across the pond, but now things seem to be heating up over there (AJ/WK and Haye/Bellew will grab some good coin). With the increased profiles of Parker and Fury after their scrap; I think now is the time to go chase those scalps. I honestly think he stops almost all of them due to his power (unless he breaks his hand in the fight). AJ probably stops him though.
