Eduard Gutknecht - any news on recovery?

My first time starting a thread here, not sure if this will appear in the right place... I was reading about boxing the other day and wondering how Eddy Gutknecht is doing after being hospitalised following the George Groves fight. I looked online but there doesn't seem to be anything after December 6th.

Does anyone know anything more than what is available to read online? Hopefully he's just making his recovery in private and it's not a case of him still being in a similar condition.

Hopefully all is well but if you go into a coma like he did after a bout they never if ever come back to normal. If you will want to find out you gonna have to check on twitter and IG or even FB for that type of news or reach out to his people, sadly boxing is done with him and no update will be had unless he passes.

Last I heard he was still comatose and had been relocated back to Germany

Yea he got transfered back to Germany but was still hospitalised last I heard, source was Boxing News magazine in late December.

This is the Facebook page of the stable he belonged to. They have a few updates in German saying he's showing some signs of improvement in mid-late December. They've been holding events to support his family and stuff like that, think they set up some kind of donation address for his wife and kids.
