If he wanted to maximise his earnings.. He should have fought the best fighters. He was too conscious of losing his 0 before GGG. Look at Khan.. He has lost fights but he's a way bigger star than Brook and earns way more. For all the guys Brook defeated.. Ironically his biggest payday and claim to stardom came to him losing against GGG.

As I replied earlier, I'm referring to the criticism of him trying to make the more lucrative Khan fight instead. These guys have mortgages ect. Yeah he had rubbish mandatorys, but who didn't? The big names like Pac and Cotto were of having superfight and at different weights and frankly didn't need Kell Brook. As for Khan, he hasn't fought great fighters on the whole either. Garcia was a defence he had to make. Canelo was Khan's Golovkin. He was always treated to the better opportunities because he was on terrestrial TV throughout his career in the UK and was a star because of his Olympic medal. Believe me, I live here, rarely did a fighter get hype like Khan did in the mainstream. Nothing to do with him taking harder fights.

I'm not faulting Kell for wanting to take Khan fight over Spence.. It's more money and a easier fight. Everyone in his position would do the same. But the fact is he's near the end of his career and all he's ever done is chase Khan.. He hasnt really fought anyone of name in his division bar Porter. If Kell fought the big names instead of nobodies and he'd be just as big as Khan.. And financially he could maybe even ask for 50/50 against Khan. Khan is popular because he fought everyone coming up. Do you think he'd be as popular if he fought the like of JoJo Dan and Bizier? Kell Brook had plenty of opportunities to become a household name but instead he fought nobodies all his career while calling out Khan who clearly wasn't interested. He's always remained in Khan's shadow.. I'm not even a Brook hater. I think Brook wins against Khan, Spence, DSG and Thurman.. He could have been the top guy at WW surpassing Khan in terms of popularity.. But wasted his talent.

I know where your coming from, I don't think he'll ever get the Khan fight. Khan doesn't want it and never did. Ironically if this Spence fight comes off he'll have fought the two most feared fighters in the span of the two divisions he can operate in. I think he edges Spence. The thing is he was starting to remind me of Howard East man, who was wasted on undercards until it was too late to do anything. I blame Hearn more than Brook. I think he's willing, but I don't think Hearn pushed too hard to get the likes of Thurman for Brook. But he doesn't lack heart. When Eubank went running he jumped in for Golovkin. Not to avoid Spence as some have suggested, just to finally test himself.

Well it appears like he's gonna be fighting Spence next.. And for that I give Brook massive props. I feel like he's going to win this and people will down play his win and **** on Spence and say he was hyped up. But I will give Brook mad props.. He's gone up massively in my estimations.
