Perhaps Estrada is still trying to test his hand out since he was complaining about it after facing Tabugon, but you are right... he could have atleast faced a legitamite super flyweight. Not some smaller, washed up fossil that his nemesis already pummeled to the ground.

Anyway, I will tune in cause I'm a fan of his... but I am rather disappointed.
Me too. His career has been stagnant and the rematch with Gonzalez loses steam as more time continues to pass by.

Damn, I think his career is done. That s**t has been like that forever now. He should've gone to the U.S. and seen the best hand specialist instead of getting it taken care of by his Tía in Mexico that's a nurse.

Hey Sosa used to be really good.... but yeah, he's old af for a lighter weight dude, and it looks like he's just becoming a name to get a W on your record.

So this is a showcase for Gallo. I hope his hand isn't a long-term issue. I am a big Gallo fan.

IMO, he's the best Mexican fighter currently. Canelo gets the hype, but when Canelo stepped up to the #1 p4p fighter, he lost every minute.

While Gallo fought a #1 p4p type fighter in Chocolatito and he was competitive in a great fight.

Would love to see Gallo v Cuadras, the Chocolatito rematch, or v. Monster Inouye. Those four dudes in a tournament would be straight FIRE.

Promoter Fernando Beltran of Zanfer Promotions has revealed that a deal is close to match former world champions Juan Francisco Estrada and Edgar Sosa in Mexico City on March 11. Sosa (52-10, 30 KOs) says there is nothing finalized, but acknowledged that a fight with Estrada is being negotiated and he would have no problem getting into the ring with his countryman.

I guess Rosendo Alvarez wasn't available. Sosa isn't even a name stepping stone. Speed bump, maybe.

Sosa must really need money if he's willing to put himself in the ring again. Guy is way past his prime. Gallito should be ashamed of himself. He could easily fight another tough fighter on the come up. What does this fight prove.
