My question was when was the last time a fighter has taken a flat fee for a mega fight? If you put them together, then it is a mega-fight

if the offer is 15mil, then who fkn cares ?

    that is a small fortune

15mil, is no reason to kill that fight

    not necessarily referring to you.....

..... but it is hilarious that most of the vocal PBC detractors..... waaaaah PBC fighters are diva businessman who get paid too much waaaaah they are killing boxing waaaaah..... think that 15mil is not enough money for a guy who did not even sell 100k buys in his last US PPV

that is enough money to buy a mansion, and have change LMAO

Point well taken, but Manny was a huge draw among casual fans. There were loads of long articles in many of the nation's newspapers, including the Wall Street Journal and New York Times. The WSJ article, in particular, created a buzz with people who normally don't watch boxing. Golovkin is still unknown among casuals. Let's see how this all plays out. The kinds of PPV numbers Mayweather drew is history --ain't going to happen again no matter who fights.

Golovkin is being offered the fight for $15m, in a showdown where Golovkin's involvement comes nowhere near delivering an addition $15m on top of whatever Alvarez is able to draw.

Why are you so hung up on the flat fee and not even acknowledging the $15m offer?
So why not just offer him 40% and save a ton of money? At 700k 15m makes GGG the A side.

A boxing match between this hype job and a real boxer shouldn't draw flies, but then again, I thought Trump was going to lose big-time. I should have heeded Mencken's advice: "Nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American people," or P.T. Barnum's adage: "There is a sucker born every minute."

Okay folks.. Regardless of regardless of how well the fight sells. Yes there is a 15 million dollar offer as a flat fee for the fight.

I'm trying to recall a time when a boxer took a flat fee, regardless of the amount of dollars for a good flight on PPV. Regardless of how well it sells. I'm just trying to remember in history when this has occurred? Let's set aside this particular fight and the fighters. Thanks

I had a legitimate question, FFS. I cared, that's why I asked the question. JC no need to get your panties in a bunch .. Yeah I know there are offers on the table.

                    apologies, fair call

                    15mil, is this.....

NOTHING even close to a valid reason to kill that fight

especially coming from a guy who called others "businessmen"

anything could happen in the next 12 months

if Golovkin loses that fight/payday, Im gonna laugh my **** off
