Orlando 'El Fenomeno' Cruz of Puerto Rico believes his countryman and fellow Olympian, rising contender Felix Verdejo (23-0, 15 KOs), will need a lot of work before pursing a mandatory world title shot against World Boxing Organization (WBO) 135-pound champion Terry Flanagan

I think he's still young enough to change his style, get another trainer, because the way he looks now it's the same from last couple of fights,or maybe he's just not what arum thinks he is,and cruz is right,if he cant beat flanagan who really isn't much of a puncher,he won't beat the other guys at all,it seems like he didn't know how to react when he was getting tagged in his recent fight, imagine getting hit like that against Garcia? he will go into survival mode and then get knocked out,,he needs maybe two more fights before he challenges any champion,

i think cruz is 110% right in his analysis. verdejo was way too rusty. he looked kinda like a fighter that was beat before maybe the crash put him on PTSD mode and it looked like the "aura of invincible youth most fighter have" in the ring was gone he wasn't using any side to side movement only jumping in and then back (which is a no no in boxing) lots of holes in his game.
