I made a thread on here like a week ago titled "The "Real" Floyd Sr. Reason". It was about how everyone keeps saying that Sr. doesnt want the fight to happened because Jr. is his son and that wouldnt be right, but I think the real reason is because he just wants to get back at Jr. for all the stuff that happened in the past and he doesnt want to give littile Floyd that big pay day.
I also talked about in the article how Sr. has even been making littile slick comments lately, so its not like he really cares about littile Floyd like he says he does. Also, did you hear Merchant before the Hatton fight? He said the exact same thing as me. Then I just read his interview on BT where he is still saying slick stuff about people being greedy and so on and at the end of it he says that Jr. is full of ****.
That doesnt sound like a father who really cares about his son and wants to make good with him. That sounds more like a man who is still bitter and wants to stick it to Jr. He knows Oscar wont fight him without him training him. I bet anything that if Oscar said that he wants to fight Floyd anyway, then Sr. would say "Ok Oscar, I'll do it if you insist", just because he wants that money.
He also knows that he can talk alot of **** to Jr. right now because he knows littile Floyd wont say anything back because he is so scared that the fight will go away. I bet Sr. is loving it. He can say anything right now because if Jr. goes off then Sr. will tell Oscar to never fight his ass. On the other hand, I think if Jr. did go off then it would boost things up, the public will call for it more, and it will make the fight extremly big. I am now fully convinced that Sr. is just trying to stick it to littile Floyd. Here's the previous thread I made about it a week ago.
