chavez is getting stopped. no way around it. either from a body shot or ref stoppage. but hopefully canelo doesn't fight out of anger, that could backfire on him.

This fight is basically meaningless b/c of how far Jr. has fallen -- and no, one good fight against a C opponent doesnt mean he's back

But, if Jr. trains hard and brings it in the ring, it may be a fun fight

He's got a a huge size advantage. And for all his faults, Jr. is a tough dude who will always keep trying.

So I could see Canelo outboxing Jr. round after round, but Jr. occasionally putting some hurt on Canelo, and making it interesting late, ala the Maravilla fight

I guess we'll see. I want to see Canelo defend his supposed Middleweight championship.

Going to be interesting to see the difference in What Memo does for Chavez. I actually think he makes weight. Plus Nacho will hopefully have him disciplined. Remember The same can be said about Canelo as it has been before about Chavez . He always fights smaller guys. This is the first time i have seen Canelo fight a really bigger guy.

Canelo will not stop Cbavez jr he does not have the power. He does have the skills to give him a good beating tho. Canelo hit Cotto with everything he had and didn't even daze him,, it's Junior digs to the body early he could stop Canelo in the later rounds

Canelo will not trade with Jr. He will box him. If you look at Canelo's fights, he really isnt an action fighter, he's a good boxer.

He only went seek & destroy against a small dude like Josesito & a dumbass like Kirkland.

Against Trout, Lara, Money, Cotto, Canelo boxed. Thats why he was so ineffective v. Money, he couldnt pressure him like Chino did, and boxing v. a masterful boxer like Money is a no win proposition. So he just stood there and Money boxed his ears off.

He boxed well enough to edge Trout and Lara, and clearly beat Cotto. I see him boxing against a stiff Jr. to a UD, but I hope Jr. still has enough in him to make it interesting.
