    Not a chance in hell.

If Hatton looks sensational next time out at welterweight all of this criticism from you all will be brought back for you to evaluate. From what i've seen, this board tends not to forget so easily. Of course Hatton was going to look bad, he's always looked bad against quality southpaws. Plus the transition of seven pounds is different to just four as in some other weight classes. It would be more of a fight with Gatti than it was between Gatti and Mayweather, but make no mistake, Hatton having learned the hard way at welterweight will not make the same mistake again and will be prepared as a welterweight next time out. In fact, Gatti would be the perfect opponent and one they should push for. It's money all round and a perfect night for Hatton.

Gatti takes far too much punishment to beat Hatton.I respect him,but his style isn't the smartest even though he is an exciting fighter

Gatti has a chance with that power, and Hatton proved he's human after all! But my prediction, Hatton busts him up by the middle rounds after a few rocky moments

Gatti looks more at home in the welterweight division than Hatton does. But im still not sure if he could beat Ricky.I want to see how he looks in the Baldomir fight first.

LOL, Gatti was never this Elite fighter that has just recently lost his edge and might regain it. Gatti is a decent fighter with great heart but can not compete with the Elites of boxing he just gets totally outclassed whenever he did try to make that leap. Gatti is the Rudy of boxing.

That being said I dont think a fight with Gatti would prove anything for Hatton. It would possibly give him more American exposer but wont answer any questions about Hatton's assimilation into 147lbs. However if Hatton loses or has a very close fight like the Collazo then it could hurt his reputation in many peoples eyes.

I dont think Gatti would come close and might seriously get hurt versus any of the slugging elites. However, Hatton is a better matchup, stylisticly, for Gatti than PBF was.

I don't think the Bladomir fight is going to determine Gatti's skills at this point... Baldomir is definitely not a challenge for anyone but Judah.
