Comments Thread For: Erkan Teper vs. Mariusz Wach Showdown Set For March 18

Heavyweights Erkan Teper and Mariusz Wach clash on March 18 in Leipzig reports German site boxwelt.com in a meaningful genuine crossroads fight. Teper lost in his last time out to Christian Hammer in a good fight, but it was still a disappointing performance from Teper, who came in a good 20 lbs over his best fighting weight. Wach knocked out the very same Christian Hammer back in 2010 in what was an internal Universum eliminator. Since then Wach ,32-2, has fought Wladimir Klitschko for the World heavyweight title but needs a good win to back into the picture - just like Teper does.

**** Teper - genuine POS. Without Clenbuterol to keep the fat off, of course he was going to turn up overweight against Hammer. The guy was a walking pharmacy with all the **** he was jacked up with. Wach isn't that much better unfortunately.

I'd hate to think what gear these guys are going to be on - we'll probably never know, because that German sanctioning body is corrupt as ****.

          Doping scumbags, both them.

Wach beat Hammer yet Hammer beat Teper, I guess we know what level these guys are, solid Euro class nothing more, they'd make ideal opposite for Wilder whilst he's reluctant to step up.

Interesting fight, Wach is a huge, durable dude but he apparently didn't look good his last time out against mediocre opposition. Have to wonder if the beatings from Klitschko and Povetking are catching up to him. I thought Teper was a legit contender, but then he got popped for PEDs, came in fat as hell and lost to Hammer. So who knows which way this one goes. I'd lean towards Teper doing a little more work and winning a decision

Winner or loser for that matter is a perfect opponent for Wilder.

The Hammer that Wach beat isn't the same fighter anymore. I think Wach & Teper is a good fight. Both kind have fallen off the map & need a win. Hammer is Wach's best win & Duhaupas (i had him beating Teper) is Teper's best win. Both guys have surpassed Wach & Teper. Good crossroads matchup...
