This is good news. I really hope Brook fights him instead of vacating the title. I don't wanna see Spence vs Berto that could be his first defense if he wins the belt. Now they should do the same thing to Andre Ward he's one of my favorite boxers but he needs to give Kovalev a rematch and quit stealing time.

Brook really has no where to go he can go to 154 but he's really not big or strong enough to hang with the big dogs like Lara or Charlo's at that weight and just so happens Spence happens to be dam near a middleweight himself

Cant blame Brook he probably just wants a tune up before jumping right back in there for another tough fight after getting KO by GGG

2 choices he can either vacant and go up to 154 and have a "tune up" fight or fight Spence at home in the UK for OK money.

How is it his fault? It's Brook's job to fight and win. You want that extra payday that comes with holding the belt, then defend it successfully against someone with a pulse before you get the Khan fight.
