Canelo's a 6/1 favourite for good reason. If Chavez had a good jab it would make it interesting. But he doesn't. He was a huge weight bully at 160, and if wasn't for the size advantage I don't think he'd even have beaten Andy Lee.

He's got significantly worse since then, as well as losing the weight advantage. With Canelo being the smaller man, maybe some of that will return. The only danger for Canelo is that he isn't a huge puncher (although a decent one) and he doesn't have the greatest gas tank if he's forced to move.

Chavez Jr is not likely to be good enough to take advantage of that that though. It took him 12 rounds to get to Sergio, and even Sergio's knee buckled he ran out of gas well before the three minutes were up.

Canelo might have heavy feet but it's not like he can't move at all. And the movement he has, combined with his countering and combination punching, should be more than enough for Chavez. Who ultimately is basic as fuck.

This fight will be a really epic fight, trust me, Chavez Jr will come ready, and he have better stamina than Nelo, the is a great body puncher, Nelo stamina is not the best, he rest too much, nad if Jr hit his body the first 4 rounds , and can hit Nelo very good, you will see an upset in this fight.

I really really think, Chavez do a good job vs Maravilla, he nearly ko him late, remember Maravilla boxing and movement is like 100% better than Canelo, and he do a great fight, now think what he can do to a nearly static nelo than do a lot of moevement, that will help Chavez Jr not to slow much because he dont move much and when he rest Chavez will also rest if he want. people are underestimating Chavez. he has the right team to get him prepared. mexican pride motivates a mexican, yes he fought rubio but he's no stud star like canela.from the recent training pictures i havent seen Jr this fit, usually he is flabby.Jr will be the heavier fighter that will lean on canela against the ropes. trust me on this Jr will be ready. canela has never trained to fight at this weight, i am sure he has a top notch nutritionist but he is known to gas out and this weight will be a hugh question mark on diva.

yeah it's sad this scum bag is even allowed to work with boxers. Everyone knows when they say with Memo's help what they are referring to. Him being on Roids and PEDs. Canelo is better at literally everything nothing Chavez does better then him. Memo will have Chavez juiced up to make weight and I have no doubt physically will be in great shape. But in the end it won't matter because Canelo is higher class fighter and will make slow, face first no defense Chavez look like an amateur. It will play out exactly like Canelo/Angulo. Chavez will get t'd off on and at some point Chavez will quit on his stool from all the abuse or his corner/ref will stop the fight.

I don't see any great advantage.
Chavez jr. will suffer to make weight and never get his strength back.
