  • Comments Thread For: Ruslan Provodnikov, Victor Postol - Manager Gives Career Updates

Manager Vadim Kornilov is best known for handling the careers of former world champions Ruslan Provodnikov (25-5, 18 KOs) and Victor Postol (28-1, 12 KOs), who both of whom lost their only bouts in 2016.

Ruslan's a politician? Never knew that

Top Rank need to get off their ass and do something for Postol. Crazy that he still doesn't have a fight set up.

"I've been waiting for Top Rank to hear if they can get him another fight."

It was a mistake signing with Top Rank. Arum just ruined Postol with inactivity, as they have with other East Europeans.

Postol would have been better off with Haymon.

You're not even eastern european...stop your sobbing.

Arum ****ed over Mikey Garcia kept him on the sidelines for 2 years...he ain't EE.

He is currently ****ing over Manny....another non EE fighter.

I'm not sure why the idea of Ruslan as a politician is funny to me but it is. Postol is a good fighter but not always enjoyable to watch, it's going to be tough for him to get big fights here because he's tricky and dangerous enough but not always crowd pleasing and doesn't generate buzz among fans.

How do you know he's ruined? He hasn't fought since the Crawford fight.

I agree, he's done it to many others such as Mikey Garcia.

I'm not an Arum fan by any stretch of the imagination, but that's nonsense. Mikey kept himself on the sidelines. Robert Garcia said in an interview with Grantland that there were great offers on the table for Mikey, and that he didn't understand or agree with what Mikey was doing - http://www.espn.com/espnradio/play?id=12548655

You can argue that Haymon was the right career move for Mikey, but you can't argue that the inactivity was anyone else's fault but his.
