I think their competition has been similar. Sure, Wilder didn't face many Top 10s, but most of his opponents were live dogs from top20, with most of them having at least 1 solid win on their resume.
AJ beat a few guys who are good as well, but saying that a joke like Martin or unproven Breazeale are better than Wilder's opposition is wrong. Overall, Wilder's comp has been better.

. He's a young, largely unproven champion, who has looked very sloppy at times. But he's big, and physically gifted. He needed some seasoning, probably still does, but it is getting to be put up or shut up time.
