To be honest theres alot of folks out there who like boxing who don't want anything to do with sky sports high prices......going back to the late 80's and the beginning of the 90's it showed the leonards,haglers,mugabis,hearns,tysons and the era of benn,watson,eubanks ....if ITV have a ppv platform now and its only £10 a shot then sky box office should start worrying because ITV has a masiive audience who will pay that....all depends on the fights and who they stick money up for

Honestly though, I played along a bit but I doubt it's done 1 million plus buys. I literally havent had anyone in my group of friends talk about it or bother to watch it and a lot of them are the casual sports fan types who would normally fall for this crap.

Having said that, I know its a pretty small sample size but this fight never generated any buzz at all over here.

Sad thing is if they do well it'll continue the somewhat recent trend of ****e undercards and just have a recognisable main event which to be fair still was a mismatch. They can do great numbers with just one big name on the card.

The fight had no where near the buzz of any Joshua fights or any recent Brook fights. The Eubanks do know how to promote, especially Snr. He's a unique character and everyone here in the UK knows who he is.
