even with one eye, brew can still punch, he's not chris byrd. brew still has a chance of knocking wlad around the ring again, byrd never did

Even without a belt, he's still a player in the division. He's exciting and his fights tend to be dramatic....that means viewership, butts in seats, and money in pockets. Wlad knows this..and he knows that if he reverses his loss to Lamon, he further validates himself as the true king of the division.

He does need to unify; but wanting Brewster is a gutsy move and I respect it.

how can you say its a gutsy move when brewster may never be the same again after a serious eye injury? why did wlad wait till the guy took a tremendous beating and detached his retina for him to challenge him to a rematch? its cowardly.,

the fact is that wlad got knocked out by brewster,. that is fact. your conspiracy theories on why he lost are fiction. look at boxrec, it doesn't say "wlad miscalculated" it says he got kayoed. i might be a hater but your certainly a nuthugger!!!!!!!

it was clear to everyone that wlad was beating brewster so bad, he just ran outta gas, the truth to what really happend nobody knows, it was a fair and square loss but I still think something went down before the fight...
you *****. he got knocked out!!!!!! and it's not like it was the first time either. he ran out of gas against ross purity also. he has a history of it./ and he got brutally knocked out against sanders. it's not a once in a lifetime thing for wlad.you say its a fair and square loss but then you qualify it? get your mouth off wlad's nuts. he's a good fighter but very vulnerable

...on the prsumption that he fights after Lamon's healed. Good grief...that's common sense, dude.

i think lamon might want to take a tune up first dude. wlad is trying to jump on the guy as soon as he gets off the operating table. typical wlad move right there.

Don't pay much attention, this forum has two main groups: Klitschko fans and Klitschko haters. Every time you post something positive about Klitschko, haters will jump in and you'll get a bunch of posts like "hurt feelings", "Klitschko ain't ****", etc. Welcome to the Boxing Scene.

Why is it that hardly anyone, except for a few of us, can look at the Klitschko's objectively?

If he challenges a guy, something's always wrong. Either he shoulda challenged this guy, or he didn't challenge him soon enough. It's sad.

There's no pleasing some people. "Wlad can't beat a puncher, he's got no stamina, he's got no heart, etc". I wish I had bet every chump who felt Sam Peter was gonna take his head off, I coulda been outta work for a year because no one used their heads, they were just so fixated on Wlad being a loser that it blinded the obvious.

Wlad's a doctor. Don't you think he knows Brew's gotta heal?

My interpretation is simply that he wants to prove he's the best by taking on the best...just like when he challenged Sam Peter. Peter wasn't the best; but everybody and their homie thought he was before Wlad showed how crude he really is. Wlad knows what the public perception of him is and stating he wants Brewster is his way of saying, "I'm not scared of this guy"...and he would have done that without the detached retina and if Lamon had won the fight.

That's what champions do....they want to fight the best.
