Yea I agree with you, but lets say Sergei beats Brewster again, than why would Wlad would want Brewster next, it's a lose-lose situation for Wlad unless Brewster wins, I see your reasoning with the title holders being busy on other match ups, but I still think this is not a wise decision for Wlad while he has better opportunities, im not saying he shouldn't fight Brewster at all, just not now... -
If Brewster fights and loses to Liakhovich again....Wlad should forget about Brewster until he proves himself. Going after Liakhovich or Valuev, if he beats Beck, would be both significant from unification purposes...and big in Europe.Originally posted by aljonYea I agree with you, but lets say Sergei beats Brewster again, than why would Wlad would want Brewster next, it's a lose-lose situation for Wlad unless Brewster wins, I see your reasoning with the title holders being busy on other match ups, but I still think this is not a wise decision for Wlad while he has better opportunities, im not saying he shouldn't fight Brewster at all, just not now...
That clarify my posistion better, I hope? I'm not an absolutist; everything depends on every other variable.Comment

yea,,,,but they dont lose to guys like shufford,,entienne and meehan whom he got a gift desicion from. brewster has tremendous heart and a good left hook but little else and he was very lucky that wlad underestimated his chin and heart by trying to bomb him out early or else he'd have never became a champion period. I like brewster,,,he's a gentleman and exciting fighter but I just dont see him beating any of the current champions with the possible exception of rahman who has a shotty defense but I doubt the rock ever gives him a shotOriginally posted by $Manny_P$no he's not. He's still a major player in the heavyweight. Everybody loses at heavyweights even the Klitschkos.Comment

I don't see the controversy.
If one didin't think Brewster was deserved of fighting for the IBF title....especially if he lost to Liakahovic for the second consecutive time, a case could be made for this fight not being a feature.
But as it stands Klitschko has never ducked anyone his entire career....so it would only make sense to avenge a loss against a name fighter. You can only count on two hands the number of heavyweights anyone even knows about...and Brewster happens to be one of them, who happens to hold a knockout victory over Klitschko.
Any way you cut it, it's a feature fight. So save the prospect fight drama...it's annoying.

Wlad threads are like coke, even when u dont want to do it, you are still ****** in into doing it.Originally posted by enadeusWell I tried to stay out of this one but here it is...
Liakhovich vs Brewster II, winner fights Wlad. It's only fair. Until then let Wlad stay busy just like Liakhovich is by fighting McBribe while Brewster heals.
Hard to resist

....Yeah, and people can dislike the Klits all they want but without them this place would have been a little boring for the last several years. It has given the haters and the fans hours and hours of enjoyment.Comment

brewster might not even fight ever again, retina is serious injury, I have heard that even if it heels a minor punch or any type contact can mess it up again...Originally posted by $Manny_P$no he's not. I think that was the end of Brewster, even if he comes back hes not going back up to the top...Comment
