Question about Keith Thurman

Because Bundu's style is beyond rough for a fighter to deal with and Thurman, having been in the ring with the man and hit him with everything he had, understood that Bundu had toughness too.Why was Keith Thurman, the only man to beat Bundu prior to Spence, so interested in seeing how this fight played out?

But was a relatively short (5'6), relatively long (nearly 70" reach), switch hitting boxer/puncher who could box/fight in all spaces and had the experience to spoil a fight if need be.
His talent level wasn't elite, but he walked into every fight with more than enough tools in his arsenal to leave his opponent with a lot to figure out before they were in position to do much of anything to him.
Spence stepped in, sifted through all of the things he needed to sift through, and was able to finish Bundu with a massive shot in the 6th round.Comment
